LEE HARVEYS-RESISTANCE IS NOT TERRORISM(FOAD 1901)

Den här skivan kom ut 2019 och bolaget var så snälla att ge mig den i efterhand. Lee Harveys är en grupp som spelar riktigt tät musik och har ett ganska eget punksound. I ilsken grön vinyl möts vi av ett riktigt bra gäng låtar och jag bara älskar det här gänget. Sida 2 innehåller låtar från tidigare album framröstade av fans och här är de remastrade. Men tillbaka till sida 1 som innehåller sex riktigt bra punklåtar som då var nya 2019 och det finns inte en tendens till att detta skulle finnas en dålig del i den här musiken. Med hitlåtar som New York, Sonic boom och Neon Angel njuter jag av den sidan. Kul att fansen fick hjälpa till med baksidan av skivan som egentligen var en ep som fick extralåtarn och bra för oss som inte har de skivorna. Dublin levererar band efter band som är riktigt bra. This album came out in 2019 and the label was kind enough to give it to me afterwards. Lee Harveys is a group which plays really tight music and have a really own punksound. In angry green vinyl we are met by a really good bunch of songs and I just love this gang. Side 2 contains songs from previous albums voted for by fans and here they are remastered. But back to side 1 which contains six really good punksongs which were then new in 2019 and there is not a tendency for this to be a bad part in this music. With hit songs like New York, Sonic boom and Neon Angel, I enjoy that side. Fun that the fans got to help with the back of the record which was actually an ep that got the extra songs and good for us who don't have those records. Dublin delivers band after band which is really good. PURCHASE! 13/8-2024

LEE HARVEYS-77(SINGEL-F.O.A.D. RECORDS FOAD 2203)

Bara att döpa en singel till 77 bådar gott eftersom 1977 är punkåret som allt brakade loss och med låttitlar som Motor city blues, Gun City, New York och Dead popstar så ser jag fram mot skivan. Gruppen gör mig inte besviken för deras musik är en typ av lite tuffare 77-punk så jag känner mig nöjd med det jag hör….mer än nöjd. De har i allt detta ett eget sound på något sätt och det känns riktigt bra att kunna säga en sådan sak. De fyra låtarna sprudlar av glädje och kärlek till punkens tidiga ålder. Det finns absolut inget att klaga på och varför skulle jag göra det. Dead Popstar är min favoritlåt på skivan men det är en riktigt jämn och bra liten vinylbit. 22/6-2022 

LEE HARVEYS-77(SINGEL-F.O.A.D. RECORDS FOAD 2203)

Just naming a single 77 bodes well because 1977 is the punk year that everything broke loose and with song titles like Motor city blues, Gun City, New York and Dead popstar, I'm looking forward to the record. The group doesn't disappoint me because their music is kind of a bit of tougher 77-punk so I feel good about what I'm hearing....more than satisfied. They all have their own sound in some way and it feels really good to be able to say such a thing. The four songs are bursting with joy and love for punk's early age. There is absolutely nothing to complain about and why would I do it. Dead Popstar is my favorite song on the record but it's a really smooth and good little vinyl piece. 22/6-2022

LEE HARVEYS-221(10-INCH/CD-FOAD RECORDS 2101)

Denna tiotummare är en fantastisk skapelse den med precis som singeln ovan. Två av låtarna på singeln finns med här och det är ju lite synd även om det är riktigt bra låtar. De har samma sköna stil på denna skiva och det är 77-punk med stil. En sångare som har lite speciell röst gör att musiken får ett eget sound också. De 6 låtarna håller alla samma höga klass och man vill bara hoppa upp och ner till musiken. Man sjunger med, skrålar med och jag skulle älska att ta ett gägn öl till den här gruppen och se dem live men just nu får jag nog nöja mig med att sätta på skivan om och om igen. Gillar ni Cocksparrer, tidig punk när den lät som farligast så tror jag att Lee Harveys kommer att passa er som en handske. Finns ansolut inget att tveka över för att försöka få tag på denna pärla och jag skall göra allt jag kan för att få tag på deras fyra första album…Hur kan jag ha missat denna grupp innan??? 22/6-2022

LEE HARVEYS-221(10-INCH/CD-FOAD RECORDS 2101)

This ten-inch is an amazing creation just like the single above. Two of the songs on the single are included here and it's a bit of a shame even if they are really good songs. They have the same nice style on this record and it's 77-punk with style. A singer who has a little special voice makes the music get its own sound as well. The 6 songs are all of the same high class and you just want to jump up and down to the music. You sing along, roar along and I would love to have a beer or more for this group and see them live but right now I'll have to settle for putting the record on over and over again. If you like Cocksparrer, early punk when it sounded like the most dangerous, I think Lee Harvey's will suit you like a glove. There's no hesitation in trying to get my hands on this pearl and I'm going to do everything I can to get my hands on their first four albums... How could I have missed this group before??? 22/6-2022
