Big Fish gjorde ju en storstilad comeback för några år sedan och nu är de tillbaka med sitt femte album och man känner igen dem som vanligt och Big Fish är ju en grupp som verkligen har en egen stil. För de kör på med sin medeltidspunk eller vad man ska kalla den. Deras musik är väldigt fascinerande och de bemästrar både lugna låtar och lite tuffare låtar. Texterna blandas friskt mellan texter som är rakt på sak tillsammans med texter som får mig att tänka efter vad de handlar om egentligen och det är också en bra sak! Det finns nog inget band som låter som Big Fish egentligen och detta att på något sätt låta konstigt för bandet låter eget och det är en helt annan sak. Jag gillar mest de låtar  som har mycket slagverk för de blir mer i den stil som vi är vana att höra Big Fish. Man tar influenser från folkmusik, medeltid och vanlig rock och blandar det i en puttrande gryta som ger i alla fall mig väldigt mycket tillfredsställelse. När man sedan lägegr till sköna gitarriff som höjer låten då blir det höga höjder…lyssna på Nattens kalla klor så fattar ni vad jag menar. Tungt, kompetent och så jävla bra! Missar ni en grupp som Big Fish missar ni meningen med musik! 27/11-2025

Big Fish made a big comeback a few years ago and now they are back with their fifth album and you recognize them as usual and Big Fish is a group which really has their own style. Because they go ahead with their medieval punk or what to call it. Their music is very fascinating and they master both calm songs and slightly tougher songs. The lyrics are mixed between lyrics that are straight to the point together with lyrics that make me think about what they are really about and that is also a good thing! There is probably no band that sounds like Big Fish really and this to sound weird because the band sounds own and that is a completely different thing. I like the songs that have a lot of percussion because they become more in the style that we are used to hearing Big Fish. They take influences from folk music, the Middle Ages and ordinary rock and mix it in a simmering pot that gives me at least a lot of satisfaction. When you then camp to nice guitar riffs that raise the song then it becomes high heights... listen to Nattens kalla klor and you'll understand what I mean. Heavy, competent and so damn good! If you miss a group like Big Fish you miss the meaning of music! 27/11-2025

BIG FISH-KALLA DÖDA DRÖMMAR(CD-PROGRESS PRODUCTIONS PROCD118)

Kul att Big Fish är tillbaka för deras musik har tidigare i mitt live berikat detsamma. Med en slags industrimusik möter svenskt vemod. Nu har de börjat spela igen och det ä ren trevlig lyssning.  Inledningsvis låter det nästan som om musiken är tagen från en cowboyfilm eller något sådant. Jag älskar bara texten på När idag blir igår som handlar om rasismen/nazismens utbredning de senaste 20 åren och när de personerna ändrar klädstil och kommer in i finrummet och vi börjar förstå hur farligt det kan bli. Annars ä ren del av texterna inte lika rättframma. Det blandas med lugna och tuffare tongångar och det är en salig blandning av influenser och det är en mycket trevlig stund vi får med Big Fish. Jag känner mig otorligt peppad på att få höra mer vad de har att säga i en intervju och att det inte finns något annat band som låter som Big Fish i Sverige. I Titellåten känner jag igen gruppen och där får vi medeltidsljudet tillsammans med ett modernt sound….Välkomna tillbaka och var inte borta så länge till nästa gång nu… 29/6-2022

BIG FISH-KALLA DÖDA DRÖMMAR(CD-PROGRESS PRODUCTIONS PROCD118)

I´m glad that Big Fish is back because their music has enriched the same earlier in my live. With a kind of industrial music meets Swedish melancholy. Now they've started playing again and it's pure nice listening. Initially, it almost sounds like the music is taken from a cowboy movie or something like that. I just love the lyrics on När idag blir igår) (When Today Becomes Yesterday which is about the spread of racism/Nazism over the last 20 years and when those people change their style of dress and come into the fine room and we start to understand how dangerous it can get. Otherwise, some of the lyrics are not as straightforward. It's mixed with calm and tougher tones and it's a blissful mix of influences and it's a very nice moment we get with Big Fish. I feel immensely excited to hear more what they have to say in an interview and that there is no other band that sounds like Big Fish in Sweden. In the title song I recognize the group and there we get the medieval sound together with a modern sound....Welcome back and be not gone for so long until next time now... 29/6-2022
